Here is a Starbucks in Hualien. It is built by white containers and becomes a popular check-in spot immediately. Although it has been opened for more than one year, there are still many tourists so that it’s hard to find a seat in there. That’s why the tourists become the background when I took these photos.
Keelung, where I live, is the most important port in Northern Taiwan. After I moved here, I have more opportunities to see the beautiful ocean. Especially in the harbor, you can see the natural scenery and human culture at the same time.
In Taiwan, there are many secret attractions where are not well-known by foreign tourists. However, the beautiful landscapes still attract lots of local visitors and photographers. I love the terrain of the northern coast of Taiwan. Most people know about the famous Yehliu Geopark. Actually, you can find the amazing honeycomb-like rocks on many northern coasts of Taiwan.
Talking about Fo Guang Shan in Kaohsiung, I think most people are familiar with it, but not everybody knows about Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum. I don’t know the Buddha Museum before I visited it this time either. Wait! Don’t tell me I am the only one who doesn’t know the Buddha Museum!
It’s enjoyable to take a walk with a relaxed mood after working for the whole week. There are so many wonderful views in Keelung, including mountain and ocean. For me who lives in the city for so long and eagers to be closer to nature, there are many benefits to moving to Keelung. In addition to breathing fresh air, I really cherish the surrounding beautiful view which brings me delighted mood all the time.
In the Harvest Blessings Pavilion at Waipu Park Area of Taichung World Flora Exposition, I found this interesting 「hundred-mushroom coded forest」 The artist Cheng Tsung FENG created a giant mushroom forest, including Taiwan’s six top rainmaking mushrooms. Each different mushroom has its own passcode.
There are two amazing Installation Art in the Houli Horse Ranch & Forest Expo Site. This one behind me is called 「A seed from the Sky」. What a lovely name which describes the appearance of the art piece just perfect!
